This is my winter sell price. If it doesn't sell, the price will go higher in the spring. Don't let it's age fool you. Sure is has some minor wear but you are only paying about 1/10 of the price of what these boats cost new. You could sell the trailer and part the motors and outdrives out for more but you wouldn't want too.
About this triple motor 43' Wellcraft SCARAB High Performance Boat. It is powered by the Mercury 500HP's and Mercury Bravo One Drives with Hydraulic Steering, VHF Marine Radio, Refrigerator, Sink, Toilet, Air Conditioning, Stereo w/CD player, Holding Tank, Cockpit Cover, Electric Bolsters Seats, Swim Platform, Custom Paint, Fire Extinguishing System, Mercury K-Planes, Silent Choice Mufflers, Drive Shower, Drive Indicators, Mercury Zero Effort Throttles, Tab Indicators, Compass, 3 Blade SS Props, Alarms for Motors if overheated or low Drive fluid level, Battery Switches, 30 AMP Shore Power with Cord and Built-In Battery Charger, 300 gallon fuel capacity (150 floor center and two 75 gallons at engine compartment sides). There is NO generator or hookups. Hour Meters = 225, 211 and 289 hours. The additional port motor hours differ mainly because of an over reb switch that kept blowing on the starboard motor. This happened to me twice before finding out it was caused by a simple ground issue that was resolved by replacing that ignition switch but each time it happened I was a considerable distance from home and chose to idle back on one motor vs towing. Center motor is less hours because it is often turned off during idle speed.
The custom paint is one of "Magic Brush" over 1200 creations on Scarabs while working for Wellcraft from 1987 til their last in 2002. Unbelievable detail of the American Eagle and Flag with highlights on the black paint to represent water reflecting. The American red white and blue theme was their '96 Miami Boat Show display. Side paint is still a 9 out of 10. The sides are all original but the top clear coat was crackling/pealing and that was sanded and re-painted a couple years back but the clear is starting to show heat lines once more. No immediate attention needed since not very noticeable. The swim platform was sanded and re-powder coated since the picture in this ad. If you want the attention, this is the boat. Standing ovation entering and leaving marines/restaurants. Boat is documented with the coast guard and has a clean lien free title (no encumbrances). Air conditioner and head have never been used by me. Re-upholstered back seat and motor cover platform in 2012. The cockpit canvas cover and the cockpit carpet were replaced last year. The 1996 Aluminator Tri-Axle Trailer (50 ft) is included.
I have owned this boat for 10 years. There are a couple gel coat chips on v-front where the trailer bracket supports it and one bottom outside rib (easy fix if desired). Plexy glass 6" windshield has a crack (not uncommon) on the driver's side edge which has no effect on anything and isn't really noticeable. The cockpit side borders gel coat have small stress lines and the fiberglass motor cover hard part have stress lines at the hinge. The CD radio and the air horn aren't working. I purchased another air compressor for it but didn't install. Used only about 50 hours since it was purchased.
Mirage 25P 3 blade props are installed. Also, includes a $2000 Garmin color GPS chartplotter (not installed) with 12-channel GPS receiver, 6.4 inch sunlight-readable color screen, remote control, includes Mapsource, BlueChart and Recreational Lakes and accepts second data card for additional map detail. Also, with optional modules you can add sonar and weather.
I am looking for an all cash transaction but may considered a nice vehicle as trade or partial payment. Not interested in motorcycles, airplanes or any other type trade. I sold my waterfront property last year and need to sell. Someone will be getting a nice looking and nice running boat for a great price.
