Wellcraft Elite

Up for auction is a decent shape Wellcraft Open Bow. The boat is in fair to good shape overall. Please see comments above for defects.Boat ran over the fourth of July but will not start now. Battery is dead but is new and should be able to be charged. Boat sat through a heavy rain in the harbor and motor was partially under water. (Pump switch was stuck, so water filled the bilge.) Water got into the oil and now motor won't start. It isn't locked up or anything, probably just needs an oil change and the plugs dried and it will start, but I'm selling as is where is in case it is something worse. (I don't think its a head gasket or anything because oil did not have any water in it after I ran it all weekend, only after the rain. I'm guessing it seeped in around the crankcase seal or oil pan seal.) We bought a bigger boat and don't have time to mess with this one.Other than that the outdrive is in good shape, boat shifts perfect, and the prop is a fairly new stainless steel 21 pitch turbo prop in perfect shape.Boat ran at about 40 mph over the 4th according to my buddies speedometer.Trim works as it should but trim gauge does not.Tach is not working.Speedometer is not working.Temp gauge does work.Bilge pump works fine.Blower works fine.Lights work.New radio and speakers with CD, auxillary hook up, and usb.Two charging ports for cell phones.Trailer is in really good shape with good tires and bearings. Recently was repainted. May need a bulb or two to get all lights working. Newer winch and RV electric hookup. Bunks are solid and carpet is good.Outdrive, prop, and trailer is worth over 2000 and boat when running right should go for close to 4,000.Good luck and let me know if you have any questions
