Wellcraft Classic 200

I have owned this boat for 10 years. The hull is sound and last month I had the transom rebuilt and they did anawesome job. I also had themreplace the trailer brakes as well as the surge controller on the trailer. (will need new tires as i only pulled it 2 miles). I have also installed a brand newsei outdrive that is under warranty until january of 2017 (for any reason they replace it, killer warranty). The outdrive has less than 1 hour run time. over the past 3 years I have redone carpet, bought new captains seat as well as double passenger seat. Rear seating was recovered with heavy marine vinyl i purchased from polaris jet skii overstock (its heavy duty). I painted the lower half of the boat with a beautiful deep blue that looks great. Now on to what it needs done and why i am selling.

Had the drive installed and went to the lake,(cost me $1,300 for outdriveplus $500 labor) boat transom was leaking bad so i went back in. Took it to shop and had it repaired.( cost me $1,700.oo ) Went out again and motor was running bad like it was lean. took back to the shop, the #8cylinder had no compression, so they took off the heads. was oil leaking and the lifters on 5 of the 8 were compressed. The engine block had some pitting, they recommend replacing the long block. I priced some on a couple of companies with a low price of $1,500 to a high price with 300hp of $2,499. You would use the existing engine manifold, carb(rebuilt this summer as well), water pump (new 2011), fuel pump new (2011), riser manfolds (new 2011), starter (new this month)etc...I have the interior trim removed except for 1 piece. all trim and captains seat, rear seats and rear padded engine cover are kept in my house. I do this each fall because I store the boat outside. Its way easier than cleaning after a whole winter of dirt,rain,etc (p.s. it does have a boat cover). I have minimal pictures right now to save money. I am a teacher and I do not work summers. therefore it is time to let her go as I cannot afford to fix it for this summer. I AM BASICALLY SELLING THE OUTDRIVE WITH BRAND NEW TRANSOME AND TRAILER UPGRADES.
