We were to sail from Va on to Cape Cod and our wedding reception was to be held on Biscuit dockside in Cape Cod.We hired a broker out of Ft Lauderdale who hired a transport company out of Miami to move her fromLake Erie to Virginia. During the move to Virginia they damaged Biscuit and come to find out the company didn't have the proper license, registration or insurance to operate. The drivers also had extensive criminal records and were arrested.So.. In the interim we're stuck with the repairs until there's a settlement. Which at this time the cost for us isn't feasible.our plans and dreams are wiped out by these low life deadbeats and we're making the hard decision tosell our beautiful "Seabiscuit" at a loss and move on."Biscuit" is currently in Portsmouth Virginia on the hard. She was prepared for shipping so the hard top and radar archare properly stowed in the rear along with the Helm. this was all professionally performed before we left Ohio for Virginia. Biscuit is still in the shipping configuration. If the new buyer wanted to move her elsewhere. She's ready for transport.Seabiscuit is equipped with twin 3208 Caterpillar Turbo Diesel Engines with a low 1200 Hours. The starboard engine was just serviced. The port engine at the time of our purchase needed a head gasket. New risers were installed on the port side at a cost of $12,000 and a new head gasket kit ($500) was purchased but not installed. The kit will go with the sale.Seabiscuit was the largest vessel made by Wellcraft at this time. I guess you could say it was Wellcraft's flagship. Her MSRP new was about $400,000. She has a beautiful long sleek multi level yacht mirroring an expensive Italian design. Seabiscuit has an option of a 2nd helm In the Salon which is unique and rare for this particular model.Biscuit also has several amenities you'd find in a larger 7 figure Yacht. Jacuzzi tub, recessed accent lighting,huge salon that would allow 15 plus people comfortably. large full kitchen with fridge and large sub zero freezer, twin staterooms and twin heads and showers, bridge that can seat 8 to 10 people comfortably. 2nd Level under the hard top is accompanied by an additional fridge, sink, love seat bench and beautiful puck lighting to give it a handsome glow in the evening that can entertain at least 5 people if not more. Biscuit is loaded with more than I could possibly list here. Twin Cat Turbo Diesel engines and large generator. Cold ac keeps the salon and staterooms cool. At one point the previous owner had 40 people on her for a wedding reception. She's a big girl with the wow factor and all the bells and whistles. She's very handsome dockside. my apologies for not having the full list of options and amenities. It's extensive. Our hearts are shattered. Seabiscuit was our retirement. We had so many plans.. One was getting married, having our reception on The Biscuit in June of 2024 and at some point in the future take her around the Grand Loop. This was all taken away from us. Upward and onward.We hope biscuit finds new owner(s) that will relish her.
