Wellcraft

This is a project or parts boat. The engine has great value, and has been started (out of water, so just very briefly) within the last year. Even the trailer is worth way more than the starting bid. The trailer "will" need tires, if you plan to travel very far with it. This was one of those projects that just never got around to getting starting on. The boat has been sitting (as is) for the last 9+ years. It originally was just parked by an owner that didn't have the time, inclination or the tow vehicle to run off to Lake Michigan as often as they would have liked to. This is a "rough condition boat" The engine compartment has been fully closed in (under deck) but there was some debris restricting the hull drain, so there was some intermittent water in the bilge area. This is NOT a good to go boat! It could be brought back to pristine condition, but that would require substantial time, effort & funds. Boat is currently in Granger, Indiana, and I encourage your inspection before placing a bid. Item condition must be noted "AS IS" with no warranty being implied on anything. I will not separate the engine, trailer, I/O, or any parts. This is a COMPLETE total package auction only. If you place the winning bid, I ask that you send DEPOSIT of $250.00 within 48 hours of the ending of auction. (unless you plan to pick it up within 48 hrs) I can deliver for FREE within 25 miles, but purchase price must be fully prepaid. We may have other pickup/delivery options, but contact me further to discuss. Do not assume anything! The boat/trailer combo "Can" be pulled with a HALF Ton pickup, but I would suggest one to use great caution, and keep the trip as short as possible with an under rated tow vehicle. The trailer has inertia brake system, build into the trailer, but I wouldn't want to rely on it too much, without further inspection. The boat has a title, the trailer does not. Back in the day, you used to title the boat, not the trailer, in Michigan. That has now changed, but one would need to go through the (update) title process, to get a title for the trailer. All indications are, that this is the trailer, that came with the boat, when it was purchased. (NEW)
