Up for bids is my 19ft Wellcraft. I am only selling it because I
have had some illnesses that I have not recovered from. The boat was
only supposed to be a use it and sell it in a few years. That turned
into a 3 summer project, from 2008 to 2011, these were the years of the
economic downturn and many boat dealers went out of business, so I was
able to buy parts for next to nothing. I will list the important new
parts as space is limited. 1. Interior --Every
thing you see in the interior shots is new. The floor is 3/4 marine
plywood with an epoxy bottom side and an epoxy/fiberglass top.
carpet, all gauges and wiring, seats side bolsters, jump seats and
steering (tilt wheel) and new shift/throttle controls and extra duty
shift and throttle cables. NOTE--the tach on the top of the dash is NOT
included.2. Engine---New cam,lifters pushrods,timing
gears and timing chain and timing chain tensioner. cam water seals. I
think the engine may have been replaced as this engine looks very clean
inside and there is a mark of .005 stamped on a pad on he block and the
hour meter said 139. Mercury used a Ford Big Block 460 cylinder head and
as such the head can take Ford parts. The engine is equipped with
Scorpion Performance roller bearing rocker arms (as seen in the engine
picture) these run quieter and with out the friction of the original
rocker arms. Note---I will include the original parts if the buyer
decides to replace the aluminum rocker arms. NOTE if replacing rocker
arms one ''''MUST''' go by the mercruiser manual.3.
Electrical----All new wiring in cable form and not loose like the
factory wiring. The original outboard type alternator and water cooled
regulator were replace by 100 Amp alternator kit, new Heavy duty starter
made for vehicles that make frequent stops and starts. The ignition
system is all MSD products and I worked a jumper into the wiring to
convert to factory system if the MSD fails. The distributor is
electronic (no points).4. Drive--- The outdrive is
NEW. The transom parts were removed and media blasted and painted with
epoxy primer and epoxy black. A drive oiler was added. 5.
fuel system--- Rebuilt Rochester 4 barrel carburetor, the correct part
number for this engine, heavy duty fuel pump, electric fuel pump
operated from the dash and a water separating fuel filter.I will include all the life and ski jackets as well as spare parts and manuals and notes as I will have no use for them. Please ask questionsPickup only in Saddle Brook N.J.And now the fine print--sorry but I have been bitten once and I wount let it happen againIn connection with the
