1986 Wellcraft Gran Sport 34 foot Updated engines twin 1996 7.4L 454 Pleasurecraft Seamaxx MPI fuel injected inboards with Velvet drives This boat was a salvage from Rhode Island. We bought it a little over 10 years ago and have been enjoying it every summer since, but it is time to upgrade. The boat had run ashore and did NOT sink. The prop shafts were bent one of the prop shaft struts were damaged, both rudders were bent and there were a couple 6"-8" holes in the hull. The hull fiberglass was ground down and new layers were placed in, sanded and painted. A new prop strut, 2 new shafts and props were installed along with the rudders. All of this work was done upon receiving delivery of the boat over 10 years ago. The interior is in excellent condition and shows very well. The forward berth has cabinet space and a flat screen TV on a swivel mount that can be watched in the salon. The starboard salon table converts into a bed with a couch sitting on the port side. The galley has plenty of storage space with an under counter lazy susan to hide away the goods. An electric stove, microwave and ac/dc refrigerator. water system works well, heating element in hot water tank needs replaced, it is on my list to fix, however there is a heat exchanger on the port side engine that runs through the hot water tank so after a 15minute ride you have hot water. The AC/Heat system keep the boat nice and cold on the hot summer nights and the reverse cycle heat works just as well in the fall months. The newer 1996 MPI fuel injected engines were in the boat when we bought it and start up immediately and run well. oil has been changed at the start of this season. newer plugs and wires. all fuel filters (high pressure and low pressure cartridges) were also replaced at the start of this season. Engines have approximately 700 hours on them. The boat does have its share of bumps and bruises. The swim platform had rubbed up against the dock a year or so back and scratched through the gelcoat it could probably be painted over. We upgraded the rear seating with the benches shown in the pics each bench has storage bins underneath for ropes and what not. There is a Kenwood stereo system with 2 amplifiers one for the 12" Rockford Fosgate subs and the other for the Bose speakers. The Onan 6.5kw generatorshows 296 hours. It runs well. The electric choke mechanism went bad and was removed.It still starts fine just may take a few more seconds to fire. The canvas has seen better days, It will need replaced soon. The boat is in the water and can be shown. It is far from perfect but has treated us to some great summers over the years. A "yard" trailer is available and can be negotiated into the deal.
