This auction is fora 1995 Wellcraft 21 Excell cuddy cabin with a Volvo PentaSX series 4.3liter GS. The trailer shown isincludedin the sale. The trailer is in good shape and is part of the sale at no extra charge.We are listing this boat and representing it in completelyas-iscondition with afairreserve. Please read the ad and view the pictures carefully as this boat will be sold to whoeverhas the high bid at auctions end.We have included158 large pictures below the ad to show you as much detailas possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of conditionis based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. This Wellcraft will need some engine work before being seaworthy. The previous owner stated that it ran well when last put away but we have not run the engine. We hooked up a jump box and the drive trims up and down well but the starter motor will not crank the engine fast enough to start it.The engine spins over but the starter sounds weak and will need to be replaced. The electric fuel pump runs and the oil in the engine is gold and clean.We have not checked the engine out in any other way.The hour meter reads 380+/-hours and is still working.Electrically some of the accessories work. The blower and bilge pump work but the horn, trim tabsand bow light do not. There is no stereo or other electronics included.There are newer (2010) dual marine batteries installed with selector switch.

Cosmetically it holds a nice shine and looks good. The gel coat is in good shape is not faded. It was recently bottom painted and cleaned. The interior is in okay shape. The seats are stillsoft and not badly faded. There are a few rips and some stitching is coming out. There are areas of rot on the aft bulkhead where the batteries are stored. The decks are solid with the exception of an area just in front of the engine hatch. The area is small (maybe 12"x12") and could easily be fixed by a person handy with wood working. The carpet is in loose in areas and should be glued down in a few spots. The white deck hatch justbehind the cabin dooris permanently fixed and is not currently removable. It looks as if it is held down with silicone for some reason. The cabin is clean and has an area for a porta-potty. It is large enough for a couple to sleep in if needed. Overall this boat needs some work but a handy person can possibly get the boat running well for a bargain price.

The trailerfits the boat well and is roadworthyshape. The frame, axle andsprings are in good solid shape.The tires hold air well and the bearings are fine. One of the tires has light dry rot (see pics) and should be replaced before a long trip. We towed this boat to our shop over 160 miles with no problems. The pictures are current and the boat is being sold as is in the condition shown. You are welcome to come to our shop and inspect the boat anytime prior to auctions end. We havestate of Massachusettstitle for the boat and Connecticut registration certificate for the trailer readyto transfer. The boat will need to be paid for in fulland picked up within one week of auction ending unless you have made other arrangements with us.We are available to deliver it anywhere for $2.50 per hauled mile if needed.
