We purchased this Engine from Evans Boats in Maryland as a Spare. At that time we were explained that this engine had water thru the Turbo. That is the Obvious reason why it was necessary to fully recondition the engine to a level that was serviceable and make it a reliable Unit. Having been a Mechanic, Diesel Technician, and an Aircraft Mechanic for (DELTA AIRLINES) for over 25 years, its the only way to be.Thanks,

Buyer beware. James Mathews is a scam artist. Look him up online he is a crook and a thief. I found out too late and he ripped me off for several thousand dollars. He sent me pictures of an engine he did not have and then kept stalling until I demanded my money back and then send me a blown up engine of a different horsepower-not even close to the right one. I later found out he was kicked off ebay for fraudulent sales and the site boatdiesel.com also kicked him off for stealing from it's members. Beware
