I have had this boat for 5 years now. I have used it on my annual fishing vacations with my friends where 5 of us fish from it for a week. It has been a reliable nice boat to use. However, I have only used it once last year and I am just not getting my use out of it anymore. It comes with everything you should need to get started fishing or boating including safety vests.
I have spent lots of time and money getting this boat to the condition it is in. In addition to routine service it has new lift cylinders, new trim sensor, new tilt sensor, a dual battery automatic charger for the trolling motor battery and the cranking battery, a new foot pedal for the trolling motor, trailer tires the beginning of last summer, a new trailer winch last summer, a new brake master cylinder 3 years ago and many smaller items. It comes with a composite piranha prop with changeable blades anda spare aluminum prop that is in rough shape. The piranha props are great, new blades are like 35 bucks a piece. I run them on both of my boats. The boat lightly loaded has no problem cruising over 30mph. It out runs my 19.5ft bayliner capri. There is a new captains chair, the fish finder is only a year old and it has GPS plus the hotspots lake map chip in it.This boat has tons of storage.Under every seat and even in the bow. It has a built in amp with 4 6x9 speakers. It does not have a head unit there is a headphone cable to plug in a cell phone, mp3 player, ipod etc.
The following are things that might need to be addressed based on your mantra of boat ownership. I did not run the boat this year, just put the muffs on and ran it in the driveway for 20 min, so this list is just what I remember from last year. However, last spring it went to marina and the engine and outdrive were removed to replace the transom plate that was damaged previous to me owning it. I told them to replace anything they saw while they were in there. The bill was over $2500.00, I hope to find it so I can show proof to the next owner. The marina where the repairs where made is Beltzville Manor Marine if you wish to check them out online. I don not guarantee anything with sale, its a boat and if I have learned one thing about boats its that they always need something.
Note: I received a message from a potential bidder asking if I would sell this boat for $1800. I want to be clear that I have worked very hard and spent lots of money to make this boat what it is. It is not a new boat and I know it is not perfect, and maybe my description makes it sound bad. However, I just do not want to mislead anyone. I paid $3500 for this boat 5 years ago and have invested in it every year since. If it were possible for me to add up all of the money and time my friends and myself have spent working on this boat and making it into what it is, the number would be very high. That being said I know how boats work, this isn't the only boat I own. And I know that you never get money back out of them that you invest. I am only selling this boat because it is the one I use the least. The starting bid barely covers what I paid the marina for last year's improvements. I know I am going to loose money on this deal, that's the wayboats work, but don't think I am looking to ditch this boat. I will be very happy to keep it and take on vacation this summer. There are 4 very close friends that are sad to see it go!
It is due for a fresh water intake pump, they are supposed to be replaced every 2 years I think and the one that is in there is 5 years old. There was a slight leak in the valve covers before the marina had it apart. I didn't notice it after they put it back together, but they did not say they replaced them. I forgot to ask. The bimini top needs some attention. A hold down strap is broken and some plastic is broken. It needs a new toggle switch for the lights. The one that is on there works but the handle is busted off. It needs a trolling motor battery.
The last picture is the left side console which I removed and replaced with the cooler. Notice that the cooler has a bracket on the top to stack a second cooler, At that point it takes up the same space as the console but is useful.. I used to stack the beverage cooler on top and the bottom was the fish cooler. It comes with the bottom cooler. This boat is fun to fish off of with friends and family, lots of space and it still moves, it has the speed of a runabout with the space of a small pontoon.
It is certainly not perfect. The vinyl has some dirty spots here and there and there is normal wear and tear. The floors are very solid and the boat was reupholstered at some point.I havetried to be as honest as possible with this listing and have done my best not to make it sound better than it is.I read this description to a friend that has been on the boat many times, he said that I am making it sound worse than it is.
Send me a message and you can come check the boat out anytime you wish.
