My mother-in-law gave this boat to me in the fall of 2012 after I discoveredthat the engine had a broken crankshaft. I pulled it home and started... Well I started on everything. I first pulled the engine apart and put a list together and ordered parts. While waiting on the parts I decided that I would check into that "soft" spot on the floor. That resulted in completely removing everything don to the bottom of the hull. I used marine grade plywood and primed and painted it after cuttingback piece before gluing and crewing it all back together. I used a good quality outdoor carpet from Menards and got all the interior back together. I completely rewired it while I was at it...

I used only factory parts in the engine with the exception of the new Wiseco pistons that were fitted. Ialsopainted the hull with an automotive paint. It is thebrightest pearliest paint you could imagine. However the paint is not perfect. I had a few dry spots with trying topaint the inside and outside all at one time. I run a business and we have 2 paint booths that we keep pretty busywith car restoration work and art work, but this was my first time painting a boat...Since 2013 we have had this boat on the water 4 times. It has performed flawlessly and the only reason I am considering selling it is that we just don't use it. I think we will end up with a 4 seatersandal in it's place. I may build one, but if you have one that is in good shape and street legal I would consider a trade!Thanks for looking
