This is a boat that is being sold "AS IS" and please take that into consideration. I spent lots of time and money (mostly time) on it way back before I got married and had kids... then it sat under a tarp in my back yard for quite a while. The last time we took it out, it ran fine but I needed to make an adjustment to the shifter cable and it hasn't seen water since. If I were keeping this boat and didn't have family, it would be a great prospect for an outboard bracket on the transom and an outboard engine. That would make some more party room in the back of the boat. Currently is has a 1970-something Pontiac 250 engine in it. Originally it was a Chevrolet 250 but someone swapped it out long ago. They are almost the same engine. For all I know, you could clean out the gas tank, shine up the carburetor and it should crank right up. I'll get it running and put up a video if I have time. The batteries are both dead so I may have trouble jumping it. I have no reserve on this auction so if you have an old Firebird and you need engine parts, you could buy the whole boat and just take out the engine! The out-drive is a Mercruiser and I have a spare one that will be thrown in as well if you need parts. The out-drive worked fine the last time we took it out. The trailer is galvanized and I think is made for a slightly larger boat. If I were trailering it for more than a few miles, I would get some new tires for it. They aren't worn but they do have some dry rot. This seems like a pretty solid boat and would be great to take out for spot fishing or maybe just do some overnight camping on the water. It has a small marine head that has never been used. It also has a small cooler fridge - I think it has a 110 plug on it but I've never used it. There is also a freshwater tank and a pump-style sink. There is a really neat, circular hatch in the front and a bow pulpit to lean up on as well. It would be really cool once you get everything dusted off.I can't warranty or guarantee any of it but please feel free to ask questions and I will try my best to answer them. Remember, it hasn't been in the water for quite a while so there is some work upfront needed (battery, clean fuel, etc.).There is a nice fiberglass antenna and a marine radio that worked the last time I tried it. There is an FM radio and it used to work but I'm not sure anymore. The buyer comes and gets the boat and tows it home. I will not ship this item myself. Thanks and good luck bidding!
