Built in early 1900's. I cannot tell who the builder was from my research. I was told by someone that they saw a picture of a similar one that was a Rushtan Inboard motor skiff, built between 1906-1910 that it had a 1 lung inboard engine but Rushtan didn't use flat ribs which this has, He said that this originally had an inboard engine and shaft that went through the keel below the champagne glass transon which was removed and someone cut the hole in rear deck to mount outboard engine. Someone on a wooden boat forum suggested it may be a Skaneateles skiff. I also contacted antique boat museum and they are also unsure, it is a mystery boat at this point. It is one of a kind. The person I bought it from 20 years ago said it came from Lake George, NY and that he thought it was his grandmothers and was going to have it restored but then found out it wasn't hers. I do not have the time now to restore it so I am offering it up for sale, now hoping someone else will be able to bring it back to its original condition it is a beautiful piece of American history. It is located in Oceanport, NJ. You're welcome to come take a look also if anyone can give me info on what it could be please do and if you are interested in purchasing it would need to be picked up at my house.MOTOR YOU SEE IS LISTED IN A SEPARATE AUCTION ,MOTOR DOES NOT COME WITH THE BOAT.
