Purchased this boat used 3 years ago and stripped it to its shell and started over as a project after my divorce lol Worked all summer on it and only got it out once that year. Still have lots of little things to finish on it, and to hook up. But the past two summers I have not had any time or funds to finish it. I'll list what is left as well as what I have done. I AM NOT A BOAT MECHANIC AND NEVER OWNED A BOAT, SO I CAN'T ANSWER TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. I will however be brutally transparent and honest so you have ALL the facts. BUT BELOW IS ALL I KNOW, I HAVE NO FURTHER DETAILS SO SORRY BUT I CAN'T ANSWER MANY QUESTIONS.
Trailer is in excellent shape with brand new tires. Only driven locally to the Aurora Res. and Cherry Creek Res. Spare tired and rim were stolen while in storage.
Boat and motor covers were new 3 years ago, but 3 yrs in the sun have done their damage. But this is all from sitting.
I painted it myself (first timer) and did it in my garage. Air flow was poor so I clear coated the crap out of it with the idea I would buff down later. So there is Orange peel but a good body person could clean it up.
THIS IS A 200 HP MARINER Engine. Boat is rated for a 155 hp so we painted a 150 on it like previous owner had.
I LITERALLY replaced everything but the engine. New Carpet, New seats, New posts, ALL new wiring, New Electrical panel, New gauges, New Steering wheel, ONE new steering cable (runs 2), New throttle cables, 2 new Bildge Pumps, new live well pump (live well in front and back), New seat posts and floor mounts, New hardware, New Lights, New Batteries, New onboard battery charger that plugs in to house easily), New external gas tank but still has LARGE 25 gallon onboard tank I have not reinstalled. (2) new Hummingbird Depth Finders only one with GPS though and both have been covered at all times in inside during the winter. I have boxes of new extras I hadn't got to yet like rod holders, plugs, lights, posts, wires, etc. I have all the old working gauges if you want them but the new Faria Guages have never been used or hooked up. We redid all fuel lines, all vacuum lines, new plugs, new plug wires, new oil separator, new battery cables. I could go on, but it's literally been gutted and redone. I just ran out of time and money to finish it up. The 45 lb Motoguide has TWO remotes (These are almost $200 each) and has a wireless peddle to. This thing ROCKS !!!!! The 54lb trolling motor was brand new when I got the boat and I personally only used it 3 times. I did not like the foot peddle mechanism. So even though it's a higher thrust than the older one on the boat, I preferred the 45lb thrust. All three batteries were brand new 3 summers ago, and then I took it out one time that summer, twice the next summer, and not at all this past summer. When not used the batteries are in my garage and I trickle charge them a few weeks before boat came out of storage. So batteries should be perfect still.
Needs: This motor runs like a race car in the driveway but when you hit the water, it bogs out on the start. I am told it needs to be tuned to High Altitude and the Prop pitch is way to high. I think it's an 18 and told it needs a 14. Never got to this. Additionally, we put a new water pump in 3 years ago but last winter we didn't put the motor down before we stored it so the pump needs to be replaced. I have video of the boat starting perfect a month ago, but not water flow thru the engine so I shut it right off. The water pump part is cheap and two people can change it in less than 2 hrs. Current prop is dinged up but I would change it anyway if running this in CO. As stated above, Onboard fuel tank needs to be put back in. Some of the wiring needs to be redone for things like the Bidlge pumps and trolling motors as over time sitting unused and having to make other updates, I unhooked things. But easy stuff to reconnect. I ordered the steering cable to replace the two old ones. Boat guy told me one would be plenty, but we ordered one that was a foot to long, so it works, but it's too long. If I had the $$ I'd probably replace the whole steering to a newer type. But current cable is brand new and only hit water 1 time. 3 years ago found mechanic on CL and he tuned it up nice. But none of the gauges were in so we did not do a pressure test. I found another mechanic for who ever buys this and wants the work finished. Unless you can do it yourself.
I will accept FAIR offers, but I won't give this away. I have $6500 into this and that does not include all the labor I put into it. I know the engine alone once tuned up could get close to $3500, Trailers close to $1500, but I understand the thousands I spent on accessories I'll end up eating a big chunck of that. But offers too low will only be considered if I strip out accessories. In otherwords, you can buy the boat, trailer, and motor for less and next summer I'll part out the new stuff. I'd prefer to sell this to a true fisherman who wants to finish this project for me. I wanted to do this for my kids and I but I just couldn't pull it off. I'd like to see someone do it though.
Below are the details I was able to type out regarding the accessories.
