The backrest is attached to the console and conceals the access to the wiring and electronic hookups for the helm. There is plenty of space to add equipment here. The helm console is well placed and all the gauges for the Mercury outboard are very visible. When you want some protection from the cold air theres a nice windscreen that helps protect from the breeze when running. Also a good place to hold onto when riding as a passenger due to the STAINLESS RAILINGS . The helm also includes a 12-volt outlet for cell phones and accessories, engine alarm, engine controls with trim switch built-in, large glove box for storing personal items, and stainless steel wheel. The steering wheel is placed well over to port and is at a good angle for driving in either the seated or standing position. There is a flip-flop seat with 52-qt aerated Vortex bait well beneath. Here you will also find tackle storage that neatly stores away. Further back on both port and starboard there is rod storage under the side decks, and you can neatly store four poles here while keeping them within easy reach. There is storage below these seats and access to the battery. This is a must see water ready vessel that has only been used 2 time a year and maintained to the highest standards.
