Accomodations:This boat features the desirable Galley Forward layout with Double Berth Master Stateroom. This creates a much more open feel for the main salon and galley areas. We have recent surveys and maintenance logs available for review. No known major mechanical issues. Boat ran fine at haul out last season.Of course this is a used boat and like all used vessels it needs minor cleanup and cosmetic TLC in some areas. Things such as paint touch ups or wood work and finishing. For instance, the brightwork varnish on the teak toe rails and handrails and wing doors is getting to the point where it could be sanded and refinished. We're debating on whether we refinish ourselves or leave it for the next owner so they can make it suit their tastes.My dad loved the shiny epoxy and varnish finish on teak. Not everyone does. It's a personal preference.Nothing major that a competent DIYer couldn't do over a few weekends with the boat in the water. Dad was just too ill last summer to get to it.Theses areas could be addressed by us for serious buyers but that leaves less wiggle room in price.Dock Available:If you're interested in a dock near Toledo,OH a dock large enough for this boat is available/negotiable with purchase. This boat came from the Jefferson Beach St. Clair Shores, MI area. My parents bought the boat used from the original owner back in late 1999/early 2000. They had the engines and transmissions professionally rebuilt back in early 2000 at a cost over $6,000. After rebuild and installation we drove the boat from Lake St. Clair down home to Lake Erie in the Curtice, OH area via the Detroit River. The entire family spent the next couple summers going through the boat and restoring it, giving it essentially anything it needed. There's too much to list here. We've got the maintenance log for the past 19 years available for review. Boat was rechristened and relaunched in the spring of 2002 and it has enjoyed light use on Lake Erie since. Always a fresh water boat and well maintained.In 2008 the boat had a complete bottom job done. Bottom was sandblasted clean, inspected and 6 coats of Sea Hawk Epoxy Barrier Coat were applied. This was followed by 4 gallons of Petit Ablative bottom paint. Bottom has been touched up and repainted as required every season since.Boat Status andReason for Selling:Unfortunately my father passed away due to congestive heart failure in mid May, 2019. Vessel is currently out of the water and likely won't be launched this season. It was in the water and ran fine last season with no known mechanical issues. Dad was quite ill at the end of the season so we had the engines professionally winterized at haul out. (A task he would usually do himself.)My mom has decided to sell the boat since dad was the captain etc. My brother and I are helping her with the process.My brother and I have small families so this is more boat than either of us needs. Otherwise we'd keep it in the family, which still may be an option if we can't find the right buyer.Please note she isn't desperate to sell. We appreciate the desire to score a great deal but the objective is to find the right new owner that will continue to care for the boat and love it like we do.
