This boat is a great find in that it is a classic yacht with a timeless feel but theDiesel enginesare still in great condition. The true value is in the space and the engine room which is in excellent shape as previous owner was a diesel mechanic. The reason for reduced price is that part of the forward deck will need to be replaced and there isleakingfrom the existing teak deck down into the v-berth. The Fiberglass Hull is in excellent condition and was just hauled out, scraped, repainted with new zincs end of August 2018. Owner lives abroad now.

Note from the owner: This boat was kept under cover until 2011. The past few years of being in an uncovered slip in Fells Point has exposed leaks in the teak deck and there are some soft spots on the port side of the bow. While all boats leak (especially those with original teak!), I wanted to acknowledge the wear and tear to prospective buyers.

A 2011 survey noted the fair retail value with updated components and added accessories of Takiteze at $84,200. The lower listing is due to wear and tear on the deck and also because the owner moved abroad for a job and wants to sell quickly. Copy of full previous survey available upon request.
