Sea Rose is a 42 ft, 50ft loa. 1968 Trojan Flush Deck Motor Yacht. Built in 1968 she is a magnificent example of wooden craftsmanship.

Details:

Constructed of 5/4 mahogany planking over 1/4 marine grade plywood all the way up to the gunnel. (The Chris Craft is only double hulled on the bottom. )

Her decks are all real teak 3/4 of an inch thick and have been re caulked.

All of the super structure is covered in Good year rubber roofing. Virtually maintenance free.

Engines are Detroit V6-53, naturally aspirated and together consume only 6.5 gal. Per hour at a cruising speed of 10 k. They have 1900 hours since the rebuild and are very dependable.

Heating is a Wabasto desiel fired hot water system with 3 zones.

She holds 180 gals of fuel, which is 10 hrs of running and 10 hours of reserve.

Genset is 8k and provides enough power to run everything on board.

There is a complete redundancy of electronic equipment on the flying bridge.

She has color radar (2)

Programable color chart plotter (2) tied to the auto pilot. With a remote so you can cruise from the fordeck.

There is a crane to lift the zodiac and 6 hp outboard

Below deck there are 2 cabins each with its own head and shower. The galley isconvenientlylocated up.

She has a microwave, full refrigerator, washer and dryer, and central vac. There are two zones of AC, with new units. There is a full wet bar on the aft deck with a beautiful inlaid motif. That motif is carried throughout in the stained glass the desk and the name board to mention a few.
