Hard to find Sun Tracker 27" Commander party barge with Mercrusier 3.0 sterndrive. Boat has a all aluminum deck ( no wood ) and is rated for 16 passengers. Mechanically many of the things that wear out on a 23 year old watercraft have been replaced to include helm steering gear and cable, Starter, starter ring gear, and rear main seal, fuel pump and bilge blower .Complete tune up last season replaced alt belt, cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. all new fuel lines and hoses. New gimbal bearing and seal, and bellows replaced last year, outdrive serviced with new freshwater anoids, impeller kit and lower gear box resealed at local shop due to leak at prop. Tilt/Trim in good working order. Overall condition is great considering its age pontoons are shiny and dent free right side bottom tube has been patched due to damage from previous owner and has not been a issue. The fences and gates or in great shape only one small dent near fuel fill, I removed Sun Tracker graphics and decals as they were cracked and peeling, creating noticeable shadows up close. When first purchased I stripped the deck to remove old carpet and replaced with premium marine grade slate colored carpet still looks great! The helm is equipped with a new AM/FM Bluetooth radio and 100 watt amp four speaker sound system and a new Garmin Striker 4 GPS/Fish finder. The 40 gal fuel tank has new sending unit ( all gauges work ) and gives the boat huge range. Replaced dock lights with Grote super bright Led lights. Boat came with front and rear Bimini tops and a custom full enclosure, sadly both tops are worn and torn and will need replaced but can be easily reproduced as I saved the tops for the patterns. The enclosure is still in great shape. Boat sells with propane grill, 2 anchors, fenders, paddles, boarding ladder, fresh water, grey water tanks for sink, and 2 new Millennium Marine B100 seats for bow fishing, boat also has changing room for your port-potty. I'm a retired mechanic both automotive and marine which has made my boating affordable. As a boat lover that enjoys being on the water I've owned many types of watercraft sharing the good times with friends and family. Over the last 4 years I've used this boat to fish, camp, and explore Tennessee's awesome lakes and rivers which brings me to why I'm selling. Late last fall I put in at Watts Bar Lake at Knoxville, Tn. The plan was go down the Tennessee River through the locks to Chattanooga and back, 2 days out running during the day and camping the shore at night things went well. On the third day I was driving and noticed the engine coolant temp was running low and figured that the thermostat had stuck open. I pushed on hoping to get to the next open marina to have it replaced. Sadly a couple of hours later the engine developed a slight miss due to a head gasket failure between cylinder #2 and #3 a known issue for the GM Vortec 3.0 engine. At that point I headed back the 72 miles to the ramp. The slight miss was barely noticeable at 1200 RPM and never got any worse. Even with the failure the boat got me back to the dock andwe all had a great time. Boat has been in storage since then after being properly winterized and starts and runs. The trailer does need some work, surge brake needs rebuilt and bunks need replaced, left side fender damage, tires are older but still safe to tow. Boat is as described feel free to msg me with any questions you my have. A great deal for the about the price of a new pontoon trailer!
