Tiara Continental

1986 Tiara 3600 Open Express, Twin Caterpillar 3208 Turbo Diesels. This is a well stocked charter fishing boat that sunk at the dock. Heavy rain and a failed bilge pump caused the problem. The boat was immediately pulled out, Tanks were drained, oil changed, and engines ran (insurance covered it). Engines were pickled and boat was put away for winter. Starboard Engine had to be pulled and repaired (completed 3/18). We have not tried the generator yet, but it does rollover. We have installed 8 new batteries, new starters, new relays, new alternators, the interior has been washed and re-installed.This boat is priced approximately $20,000.00 under any Tiara 3600.The engines alone are worth the price.The exterior is fair.The interior is fair...there was some vandalism.This is a running driving boat but needs more work.This boat has at least 20 rod holders on it.If you want to step in to a serious fishing boat at a discount, this is it.Note...there is still a lot of work to complete on this boat. The engines run great and the boat drives fine. We put a new trim tab pump on and they work fine as well.The chart plotter and gps appear to be operating fine.There are many electrical circuits to be ironed out.Gages, charging system, generator.Do not buy this boat unless you are familiar with boat electronics.It runs and drives and could be brought up to speed over time.We had an inspection completed by a surveyor who valued the boat at $30,000.00You can email for the inspection report and moisture readings.
