Thunderbird Falcon

For sale is a nice 1969 Thunderbird Falcon 17 foot fiberglass Runabout with a 115HP Mercury "Tower of Power" 1150 and trailer.We purchased this boat at the beginning of the summer and enjoyed it up and down the Mon river and took it up to the Point several times. Unfortunately, the outboard motor it had when we bought it started having some pretty major issues and we had to replace it. The newer motor is a Mercury 1150 with power trim.We've only had it back for a few days now, and the season is pretty much over. However, we did learn a few things through owning this boat (it was our first), and we are looking to upgrade to a larger one. It seats 6 comfortably and without bogging it down, but we're moving toward an 8-10 person setup and possibly a pontoon for the coming year.Included is the trailer, which is in great shape.As with any boat, this one isn't perfect. There are some tweaks here and there that need to be done, but they are minor jobs, some cosmetic. However, into the new motor we put a new impeller, coil, spark plugs and gear oil into the motor as well as replacing the hydraulic lines for the trim, the electronic control box, and distributor as an in depth tune up and precautionary measure. All that's left are some final tweaks once it's in the water next year or over the winter if you're handy.I'm hoping to find an end of season deal on an upgrade for us, and am listing this boat with the understanding that I'm going to be giving someone an end of season deal as well. I'm not in a rush to sell, and could possibly get more in the spring. I figured I would list it though. It's listed for $4,000, which is less than I am into the boat (we used it for the summer, and I'm willing to "pay" for the fun we had).I have clean titles for both the boat and the trailer, and am willing to negotiate delivery/extras with you if you are serious about the boat.
