Just in time for Summer, I proudly present my 1972 Thunderbird 15 foot fiberglass trihull outboard motorboat with trailer! It is totally seaworthy and ready to ply the waters again. It is powered by a powerful 100 horsepower Evinrude outboard motor. Comes with an electric fuel pump and switch by the captain's chair. The trim adjustment is also electrically powered and works perfectly.Model #100993SSerial#J0001993Operating range 4,500 - 5,500 RPM's100 HP at 5000 RPM'sThe seats have been re-done and are in great shape. It comes with a canopy that can be lowered or raised manually with ease. There is a tear on the port side of the canopy from a palm branch falling on it in front of my house during high winds. Boat comes with one dock line. The steering wheel is cracked but it can be repaired or replaced. The horn doesn't work but both forward and aft lights are working. No cracks or breaks in the glass windshield. Comes a large fuel tank.Uses regular unleaded fuel with 2-stroke motor oil.The winner of this auction will also receive; The trailer with lightsA set of used water skisEarmuffs for the post-voyage motor flushing (very important!)Some orange life jacketsAn out of date fire extinguisher (can be re-charged)Boat Ladder1/2 2.65 oz. container of 2 stroke motor oil. This is my personal boat that I bought 7 years ago and I've personally taken this out to Long Beach Harbor and Los Alamitos on the 4th of July. It runs great. Never gave me any trouble. Cuts through the water very nicely and is amazingly steady at anchor. Great for fishing, water skiing or just touring around the harbor.I'm a college student and need the money and space. Otherwise, I'd definitely keep this little sea gem. It gave me a lot of warm memories and taught me a lot about boating and the sea.Registration is out of date but it's very cheap. (like $20-25) No tickets or liens at all. I have the pink slip in my hand. It could use a good paint job and some TLC. A great project boat. Great boat for beginners like me. Sold As Is. Local pick up only. I'm in West L.A./Culver City area. Trailer: Comes with the boat trailer. Trailer is solid and hooks up with a ball-socket connection. Tires are good. The elevation crank works fine. The boat cable crank & hook is a little rusty but still works good. Missing the side board on one side. The wiring for the lights will have to be re-run and installed. Not very serious, though. I made sure to wash it off thoroughly with fresh water from a hose every time I took it out of the sea water and again at home.Feel free to ask me any questions about this boat. I can e-mail you additional photos. Grab this while you still can!Thank you for looking!!
