Thompson Off Shore

This boat has always been in fresh water spending most of its life in Ohio. I purchased it from the son of the original owner. I have all the originalpaper work and manuals. This boat is a beauty. I have refinished the outsde. The inside is in good condition but the varnish is flaking. Some cleaning and varnish and it will look like new. The boat has had some repair but is solid. The Bright work is in very good condition.Everything works well. It was converted to 12 volt but I have all the old 6 volt parts. The Battery is a new 12voltdeep cycle. The engineis an MD-2,serial no. 7805 with dual carbs. Itstarts and runs great.The Stern Flag Pole is a beautiul wooden Pole and with the ensign in place it makes a great statement for this era of boats and it is still stored in the original tube. The drive is in very good condition with 2 extraprops. You can tell from all the pictures that this boat is exactly as I have stated. The trailer isthe originalSterling tandem axle with new tires in 2007 and not stored outside since. All the lights work.TheSurge Brakes were unhooked but I have all the parts to rebuild them. I have had this boat for 7 years and justhaven't had the time to finish it as it deserves. I have only hadit in the water twice, once in 2007 and once ths year (2014). It rides just as you would expect, very smooth and solid. It hasthe full canvas andit appears to be theoriginal. It is all there including the windows but should be replaced. I love this boat but just don't have the time to do it justice.
