Looking for a restoration job? Consider this all original 1965 Thompson outboard wooden boat. It's a complete original package of an all wooden boat, canvas cover, trailer, original gas cans and unique Mercury outboard motor.Features a unique left side captains seat and "dock buster" engine. The engine is the first 70 hp engine Mercury built which, at the time, did not have a transmission to handle that high hp. So no transmission. Engine has forward and reverse, hence the nickname "dock buster".I purchased it with dreams of restoring it but then bought land and built a house. Been so busy with the house that I just don't have time for the boat and hate to see it sit. Looking for someone with the same dream of restoring it to its original beauty.
