Hi, I am reluctantly selling my 1956 Thompson. The boat is completely restored and is in need of nothing. 2 year restoration included a new white oak keel, every rib replaced with steam bent white oak, new garboard planks, silicon bronze hardware, windshield frame and functional spotlight from a ChrisCraft, fresh paint and 7 coats of varnish. Engine is a early 60s vintage 40hp Seahorse, new water pump, carburetor rebuilt, rebuilt prop and comes with one extra. Also comes with vintage wooden skis. Trailer is a TeeKnee and is original to the boat, has new tires and bearings but could use some cosmetic work but tows great. The boat is wonderful and is total head turner. I hope it goes to a good home. I am willing to transport the boat under negotiation. The reserve is set lower then the buy it now price.
