Restored 2014-2016. Restoration included removing fiberglass. Previous owner had glassed below water line. Removed paint to bare wood. Entire boat saturated with Dr. Rots anti wood rot products. Replaced/repaired several ribs. New mahogany stringers installed. All new wiring for lights, horn and two bilge pumps, one switch operated and the other automatic. Painted in the correct shade of Thompsons lemonade yellow. The engine is a 1959 jubilee year Evinrude 35 hp Lark. Ignition and carb overhauled. New power cable from turn key starter to engine. Boat is very stable in water. To see first launch since restoration go to YouTube and type in Thompson wood boat restoration and launch. Should be first in list. The original master craft trailer was disassembled, returned to bare metal, primed and painted. All new wiring and hitch. I have the original wheels with chrome master craft hub caps. They will need rechroming though. Boat also has a new high quality tan colored canvas Bimini top, not pictured. The boat cones with two 6 gallon 1950s fuel tanks. One has been restored since picture was taken. The Evinrude transfers need to be put on.
