Thompson 165 Cutlass

This is a 1987 Thompson 165 Cutlass bowrider powered by a 2.3L 120 hp OMCCobra I/O & roller trailer. The Thompson is 16 feet in length, has a 6.5' beam, weighs 1400 lbs, and has a capacity for 8 persons. The 165 Cutlass features a full gauge package including speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, engine temperature gauge (in-op), oil pressure, volt meter (in-op), and trim gauge (in-op), bilge pump, blower, navigation lights, horn, boarding platform w/ step, in-floor ski locker, ski tow hook, 4 mooring cleats, 2 bow grab handles, and a full mooring cover. Although the accessories have been checked their operation is not guaranteed. The boat is solid and the hull and top decks are in good condition for the year but is slightly faded and has some scratches and scuffs. The floor is solid and the carpet is in average condition. The seats are in poor condition and will need to be replaced or reworked. The engine starts and runs with good compression on all four cylinders at 115, 120, 120, 125. The engine will need carb work as it stumbles on acceleration and is most likely the accelerator pump. The unit does shift in and out of gear well and the trim and tilt works too. The Sea Bird roller trailer is included and has 14" tires, tongue jack, spare tire, and tie down straps.The boat and trailer have a clear title. Michigan 6% sales tax is due regardless of state of residency. The boat can be viewed by appointment only during normal business hours.
