Hi there,
Looking at your boat ad - we had a very similar Thompson when I was a kid.
Do you know what is wrong with the engine to make it knock, as in have you or a mechanic diagnosed it?
Any metal in the oil that you have seen? What is your history with the boat?
Is the price negotiable?
I'm in SE Michigan, we have a cabin in Baldwin.
