Hello and thanks for looking at my nice little boat. Open bow jet boats are hard to find so I thought I would just make my own, so I went looking for a twenty foot boat. Eighteen foot boats do not have the space to put seating in the bow. Anyway I found this one and after the way it turned out, I would really like to make this one of many. I refer to this as a "Walkover" not a "Walkthrough" but a walk over. Open bow boats are very nice, but there is one safety concern. Everyone wants to "submarine" their jet boat, which would not be a good idea in an open bow for obvious reasons. I made the front section sealed off, with its own separate bilge pump. I go over all that in the linked videos, but that is for sure a safety feature. I built a standard bore 454 from a 4 bolt main block with flat top pistons so you can run pump gas. It has a Comp Cams XM278H cam designed specifically for jet boats with an A impeller. It has 115 cc aluminum heads with 2.25" intake valves and stainless roller rockers. Double row timing chain and 3/8" push rods. I really have no need to sell this boat. I'm just a little ashamed to own something this nice that's not for sale. I think I will put a "make offer" on it just to see what happens, but I'm sure not interested in any low ball offers. I know this is the wrong time of the year to sell a boat, so if I keep it for a while, I will probably experiment with a few things to make it better. It has a Holley 750 vacuum secondary on it right now, but I have an 850 double pumper that I may put on it. I may also put a double A impeller in it since it is such a torque monster. As you can see I didn't take many pictures, but I put three videos on YouTube. If you are interested in the boat, the videos will give you a better idea what you're looking at. If you need to know something I forgot to mention, please feel free to ask. Before you buy is the time to ask. I guess if you would like to try before you buy, bring me a crisp new hundred dollar bill and we will go to the lake. If you end up buying it, the hundred would go toward the purchase. If you don't you got a hundred dollar trip to the lake. If it catches on fire or sinks I will give you the hundred dollars back :^) VIDEO NUMBER ONE https://youtu.be/Wg97aU4MOLw VIDEO NUMBER TWOhttps://youtu.be/raqaCPYpQtw VIDEO NUMBER THREEhttps://youtu.be/mGS8JtjhrJM *****************Oh and yes I have a title***** One more thing: I put a new flex plate on the engine when I built it and bought a new Hardin Marine CCW rotation top mount starter. Ever since I saw the first one of those, I refuse to put a car starter down under everything on a jet boat.
