Swift Atomic A

For Auction is a SwiftAtomic "A" wood Hydroplane. Recently restored by Tom Cronk in Sarasota. The Hydro was in good condition prior to restoring but needed front deck replacement. All spars checked and glued with west system. The original serial numbers are stamped in the transom. As you can see from the pictures, it is ready for paint or run like it is. You can see the faint outline of where the original paint stopped on each side of the decks. There is a Quincy Throttle and original steering assembly included(needs painting). Have some literature that will go to the successful bidder.

The Swift Atomic A was built by Joe Swift in Mt. Dora Florida and raced in the 50's and 60's in multiple classes. It will handle a KG4H 7.5hp all the way upto the Mark 20H 20hp. This is no reserve auction so someone will own this wonderful wood hydroplane. Have well over $2500 in her. The boat measures 10' long and weighs maybe 100 lbs. Will need to be picked up in Blairsville Ga.
