Sutphen SS

You are looking at a very special 1 of 1 ever built 40 foot Sutphen. If you look at the Sutphen web site you can see pics of the boat when it was a race boat. I have a list of all the races she won. including OPA 2008 Triple Crown,and national champs. 2009, 5, 1st place finishes. 2010, 4, 1st place finishes. 2011, OPA world champs, 2012, OPA world Champs,as well as Top Gun award for fastest v bottom average speed. When I bought her I put the cabin together, re did the interior, new throttles and gauges, all new cables. I have also had new engines built by D'Amico Racing Engines. They are 581ci. Dart tall deck big m blocks with billit splayed caps. Big Chief cyl heads w/jessel rockers. there are piston oilers added as well as .908 lifters.Jessel timing belt drives, crank trigger ignition and 3 stage water pumps.new 14-71 blower shop billit blowers and intercoolers with Nickerson custom built carbs. The engines make over 1150hp each with less then 8lbs of boost. Dyno and full build sheets are available. Its a staggered boat with #6 drives. Trans and drives were rebuilt by Nopper Marine. I replaced all the steering and trim hoses on both drives. Full Areomotive fuel systems as well as Imco electric fuel tank control valves. All fiberglass repairs were done by Richie Sutphen Jr. As well as adding a extra fuel tank in the floor. She is an incredible boat and runs the water like the baddest Sutphen ever built should. She sits on a triple axle aluminum trailer with disk brakes.
