I own a 1984 Sunrunner 245s boat from Spokane, WA where the factory was located. She has a 305 chevy "corvette" with Volvo out drive and through hull exhaust, she will still go nearly 50 mph amazingly the boat goes that fast with such a deep hull. Sun Runner's had a 10 yr warranty on their hull , due to the way they were built . Fiberglass stringer system with no wood to rot, The Sun Runner is a deep-V, high freeboard, designed hull, that is very sea-friendly, and produces a nice, dry ride, extremely sturdy and stable. I bought the boat as a project (she only had 263 original hours) and the hull has but a few minor scratches. in the past year she has been cleaned buffed and polished gel coat (see pictures). Deck gutted cleaned with addition of new jump seats. Has ship to shore radio, marine 4 speaker stereo system, color depth & fish finder transducer checked and works great. Has nice swimstep, under step ladder, and mounting bracket for your trolling motor, Two new (under a year) interstate marine batteries with on and off switch. Walk through windshield and new captains chair. Entire engine gone through by YTM.**Still Factory compression on all cylinders**Replaced all belts, during complete tune up replaced all electrical componets**Out drive serviced and water pump replaced** Motor currently has low 268 original miles ** I went fishing last month (see pictures). Now for the inside, I gutted the old galley to the hull. Replaced all the front sleeper with new foam and nice hand made throw pillows. The under cockpit sleeping area has been redone with all new foam as well no mildew or damp smell. The bathroom is original as I received and has a stand alone porta potty in it. The galley area is open space, no sink or stove, put your own back in or use the space for storage. Trailer is in great shape, bearings packed last year, no dry rot on tires. wiring good boat & trailer lights work perfectly. Don't buy the same class project boat with a blow motor!! This BOAT IS SEA READY and not a project, Mechanically sound It will give you years of enjoyment. Great for a "first" family offshore boat or the guy that likes to fish the kelp beds, Coronado, Catalina, etc..at a fraction of the cost for new. I have made over $5K of improvements in the past year and am willing to let it go as I am having major surgery and will be out of work. please inquire with any questions!
