Sunrunner

1986 sunrunner 2550 cabin cruiser project with tandem trailer. Boat is about 27 ft long by 8 ft wide and trailers OK with a standard bumper hitch on my Excursion. Has aft cabin and v- berth with full galley and head. I bought this 7 years ago as a total restoration project. I put a lot of time and money into it but it needs a bit more and I have lost interest. This was a saltwater boat from Chesapeake City Maryland with twin 4 cylinder Volvo I/O motors showing low hours. It had been neglected for a while when I got it. I have redone the bottom paint, replaced the transom. Pulled both motors and went through the cooling system, new impellers. New plugs, oil, points, carbs rebuilt. New manual and electric bilge pumps. Both drives pulled with new seals, bellows, bumpers, zincs, paint. New Xantrex Freedom 1800 inverter/ battery charger ($600). Replaced captains seat and all gauges. Replaced most wood including main and aftcabin floors, stairs, L- shaped lounger. Made my own Bimini top and recovered all interior cushions. New marine head and shower. New interior lights and flat screen TV. Comes with unused stainless grill and color fish finder, not installed. Rebuilt and recovered rear deck bench seat. Replaced wood in rear swim platform. New telescoping swim ladder. As for the trailer I replaced tires, shackles, bearings, leaf springs, front tow beam, lighting and added electric brakes.

The boat still needs some work as seen in the pictures. It needs a good scrubbing and buffing. The motors have not been run in 2 years, probably will need carbs cleaned out. The electrical system still needs sorting out. Port side motor lift needs repair, Interior needs carpet and stairs are not attached to hull. Aft cabin is in pieces since floor replacement. port side rail needs replacement, I have stainless tubing for this. Props do not match. Trim system is inoperable. Please ask questions before bidding. Boat has title and was registered here in TN through 2014.
