This is a 1986 23 foot Sunrunner weekender. The boat was being prepared for family boating and fishing in Lake MI. and is now in storage at the Great Lakes Navy Base. The boat was winterized and shrink wrapped for the winter and has not be summarized this year.
The boat received a new rebuilt long block 350 engine that has 1 hour of running time on it. The engine was fit with a new rebuilt carb, water pump, alternator, starter and solid state ignition. The boat has 2 new batteries. All work was done by marina mechanics. The outdrive was given a full service as well.
The boat was fit with new controls as well as control cables and steering cables.
The engine bay was fit with new bilge pump as well as air ventilation pump.
A work on the boat was done at marinas and not by the owner.
All the above deck seating foam and covers were replaced as well as the captains seat.
Below deck the boat was striped with only the wiring being in place and the original bedding foam cushions.
The wood railing was refinished last year and is in good shape.
The boat sits on a EZ Loader style trailer that has working surge brakes. I have towed the boat around the Chicago area and up to WI. with no problems. I haven't checked the tires and lights this year and I'm selling it as is.
The boat was run on the Fox River last year for 1 hour with know problems.
For health reasons the boat has to be sold and is being sold as is. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will answer as best I can. I'm starting the bidding lower than what is cost for the engine. I need a $500 deposit with in 24 hour of the end of the auction and full payment and pickup with in 7 day of the end of theauction.
The pictures were taken last Aug and this week.
