For Sale:1999 Sea Ray Sundancer 240.5.0 Mercruiser engine with cracked block. Needs transom seal and has fiberglass hull damage. There's a 10-12 inch long, 1 inch tall gash in the hull (compliments of me hitting a stop sign).Boat actually still runs, but water fills the bilge, even when its on muffs. She features seating for 6 adults, cabin that sleeps 2 adults and 2 children comfortably with pump-out porta potty, Nordic fridge, sink and Kenwood Bluetooth stereo system. New 700CC battery replaced last year; new 1000 CC battery this season. Perko switch to run on battery 1, battery 2, both, and complete shut-off. Has engine compartment battery charger and fire suppression system. Transom shower and extended swim platform. Two bimini tops that connect for one large top. Separate SeaRay storage boots for each bimini top. Has partial enclosure (Ive never used it). Table in cabin can be used on the seating deck. Snap-in carpet that is in poor condition. Upholstery is in fair (not good; not average, but fair) condition and shown in pics. Tow eye for water sports and transom door.8 person/1200 pound capacity. Shore power. Carbon monoxide detector in cabin. I see a thermostat but I never turned on heat/air so I do not claim that they work or even exist (I used the boat as a big cuddy rather than a cruiser). The cabin has center table that has a snap-on cushion to make a complete sleeping bed.Tandem axle trailer with 2 inch ball mount and 4-flat wire plug.I want to make this very VERY clear: this is NOT the boat to buy today and be zipping around the lake tomorrow. If you know how to repair fiberglass and engines or know people who do, this is the boat for you. Not saying that theres nothing else wrong, but this is all that I KNOW that is wrong. This is a 25+ year old boat so it wont be perfect.Boat is located in SW Atlanta, GA.Boat is being sold at ABSOLUTE AUCTION!! It may be offered for sale locally so auction may end early, but if the ad is up when the auction ends, the winning bidder gets the boat and trailer! Both are registered to me and will be sold via bills of sale as neither boats nor trailers are titled here in Georgia.Questions are welcomed but please ask them early. I do not know what YOU think is important, so this ad has everything that I would want to know. $500 deposit due within 24 hours; remainder paid in cash upon pick-up. She weighs about 5,000 pounds, so she can be pulled by an 8 cylinder 1500 truck or SUV but I don't recommend a 6 cylinder vehicle unless it's a diesel. Now, some of you may be reading this and thinking "This guy must not really want to sell this." Well, I have been on classifieds board for 20 years and I HATE when sellers are less than honest. I would rather you get the good AND the bad, not tell you just the good and surprise you with the bad. I'm starting this with the value of the trailer and if that does not get a bid, I'll keep it as an off-season project. If you deem the boat to be miss-represented, I will gladly refund your deposit and thank you for your time, but I do NOT entertain "Hey! I didn't know about that; will you take less than my full bid?" The answer is "No" because that is not fair to the other bidders nor to me as the seller, so feel free to ask questions.Good luck and happy bidding!
