Sunbird Corsair 170SS

1993/4 Sunbird Corsair 170SS bowrider. **Boat is likely a '94 since it was manufactured 12/93 but I don't have the title in front of me to verify**

Hull is in much better condition than most boats of this year. Trailer is in good condition with newer axle, tires and bearings. It tows great and all lights work. Boat has been used in Fresh Water only. There's a soft spot in the deck above the fuel tank but it's been there for years and I never got around to fixing it. It's a really straightforward repair on this boat if you want to fix it over the winter. The interior is average but better than you'd expect for the original. Main lounge seats are newer. The bimini top is in good condition.

Engine runs EXTREMELY well and pushes the boat along nicely at 35-40 mph. It has electric trim on the shift lever as well as on the side of the engine. It is oil injected (separate oil tank) and burns very, very little fuel. I would estimate this engine only has a couple hundred hours on it. One coil is new and all plugs are new. Lower unit was serviced and had fluid changed last year.

This is a great family runaround boat that is light and easy to tow with a standard SUV or small truck. It runs great, looks good and uses very little fuel. I'm moving soon and trying to downsize. Not towing the boat to our new home would be one less thing to move. I've set the reserve really, REALLY low to ensure it sells. If for some crazy reason it doesn't meet reserve, I'm just going to keep it and move it since it's such a great running little boat.
