2008 Sun Tracker 18’ Bass Buggy W Tracker Trailer 50HP Mercury Motor NEEDS WORK

2008 Sun Tracker 18 Bass Buggy w Tracker Trailer. Bottom end of motor needs to be rebuilt. I bought this boat in 2020 with a new rebuilt top end. Ive since replaced shifter cables, throttle cable, mercury gear shifter, stereo system, steering wheel, horn, voltage regulator, battery + more. I recently flushed the gas tank. I also added 2 fishing seats that come in and out easily when needed. The boat was having issues In reverse and a local boating center quoted me at $2100 for the bottom end motor rebuild. Once this is complete the boat will essentially be completely refurbished with a nice Tracker Trailer. The boat shows normal signs of age and wear but overall good condition for a 2008. The boat does have normal wear but has a lot of new upgrades as mentioned above. The boat is located in OCALA, FL. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. The top end was rebuilt and the break in process is complete. The boat fires right up and runs great but I was having issues when the boat was in reverse. The gears in the bottom end are worn so the bottom end/ Foot needs to be replaced or rebuilt. I took the boat to a local boating service center in July and they told me the lower end needed to be rebuilt. When I picked the boat up they gave me a box with the foot, prop, and lower end components. They disassembled it to assess what needed to be done. So I have all the parts to the lower end. All you would need to do is have the gears replaced. The top end is perfect! If you have any questions please ask! I still owe a little money on the boat but once it sells I will immediately go to my credit union, pay the remainder of the loan off and obtain titles for the boat and trailer.
