Sterling

1980 Sterling Jetboat. This boat went under a complete restoration about a year ago. 18 ft fiberglass hull with a candy green and white paint job. It has new stringers and glassed inside redone completely. New gray carpet installed inside. Motor is a 5.3 LS Chevrolet engine with twin turbos. The turbos are set at 7 psi. Its connected to a Berkeley pump with a Place diverter. It will shoot a 12-15 ft rooster tail. All of this is new or newly rebuilt. Motor was a low mileage Tahoe engine. All new Hardin Marine gauges installed. It has a Sony stereo with two 6.5" Sony marine speakers. The trailer was a custom build tandem axle trailer with new axles, bearings,rims and tires. Fresh paint job on the trailer as well. Tons of money invested in a one of a kind boat. Only issues with the boat are the trailer fenders got bent a little in low water this year and the paint around the gas tanks has come off. It is mechanically perfect. Only cosmetic issues.
