This boat was in an accident on the trailer. It's banged up on both sides. Most of the damage is above the water line. We had it in the water or several hours, buzzed around with a 15 hp johnson and when we pulled it out on a hill a 1/4 cup of water came out. You need a long shaft motor.

I have a clean title to a 2001 17'6" Strarcraft Super fisherman, which was in an accident on a trailer. It's rated for 7 people up to a 150 hp motor.

After being in the water for over two hours when we pulled out the plug on a hill there was about a 1/4 cup of water, which came out. The boat does have a bilge pump, which you can turn on or off or runs automatically with a battery. It needs a long shaft motor. I had a 15hp short shaft and it was barely below the bottom of the hull. It pushed us around but we didn't really break plain.

The beam at the stern is 7'. The manufacturer has the boat weighing about 1,200 pounds.

The trailer has had new wires and new water proof taillights. It needs to be painted. From what I remember the tires are in good condition. It's a 2" ball. I did just repack the wheel bearing so its ready for the road. Just rusty but if you cleaned it up and painted it, it would certainly look better.

Currently the boat is stored just off Stoughton Road by Farm and Fleet in Madison WI. This boat is listed locally for sale. If I see it has a bidder I won't sell it locally. A boat ramp is a few miles away. If you would like to see it in the water I'd be happy to go for a boat ride. If not as described I would refund your deposit. Once you leave with the boat I'll consider the sale final. This could be a very nice boat to someone who wants to take the time for some work on it. Again local inspection is strongly recommended.
