Starting bid is 1$This boat will sell on classifieds board with this listing!I am the second owner of this 1965 Starcraft Newport 16 ft boat. I have the original paperwork from the purchase (see pictures). There are lots of extras included so you should be ready to hit the lake.This is a barn find (well I never really lost it in my barn but... ). It has been stored inside it's entire life. I've had the boat for about 20 years. I used the boat 4 or 5 times. When I put it in the barn I drained all the gas from the tank and the carburetor and of course the water. The tank and carb should not be gummed up. However, I am not guaranteeing anything this is an "As Is" sale.I am selling the boat because I have not used it for years and it is just taking up space in my barn.It comes with the original canvas top and side windows. I never used them.As you see in the pictures I've included vintage skies, life jackets, shop manual, original sale paperwork, an anchor, side bumpers, water ski ropes, 2 ladders, 2 props, a spare tire, the trailer and various parts.This boat is in nice shape, especially for it's age. The trailer is also in good shape. It has a little surface rust. I could have used a rattle can to make it pretty for the pictures but that would have made it harder to paint right. If someone plans to do that.The original owner told me he upgrades the exhaust manifold with an OEM factory performance manifold and it produces more power than the 110 HP listed on the motor.A couple items I want to note is that the trailer tires have dry rotted and the trailer light wires got stuck on something and got pulled out. If you want to pull this home you can have new tires delivered before pickup and I can have them put on if you cover the installation costs. Otherwise I would recommend bringing your own trailer.I will hate to see it go but I've never use it.Cash in personThis will need to be picked up immediately after the sale or make arrangements to hold for a couple weeks.
