UP FOR AUCTION IS MY BELOVED 198426 FEET STARCRAFT ISLANDER. THIS BOAT IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR HER YEARS AND HAS MANY, MANY MORE YEARS LEFT IN HER FOR FUN AND ADVENTURE. I BOUGHT HER IN 2006FROM A REMARKABLE SENIOR GENTLEMAN INWISCONSIN DUE TO ILLNESS. HE KEPT HER IN A PRIVATE WEARHOUSE HE HAD ON HIS PREMISSES. WHEN I PULLED HER OUT INTO THE DAYLIGHT TO BRING HER HOMEI WAS EVEN MORE AMAZED AT THE PRISTINE CONDITION SHE WAS IN, MORE SOTHAN WHAT THE PICTURES PORTRAYED. THE INTERIOR IS STILL ORIGINAL ANDIN GOOD SHAPE FOR A 32 YEAR OLD. THE ENGINE AND LOWER UNIT ARE ALSO ORIGINAL AND IHAVE NOT HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH EITHER, AND NO FLUID LEAKAGE EVER,AND THEY BOTH RUN EXCELLANT! THE ENGINE AND LOWER UNIT HAVE BEEN SERVICED AND WINTERIZED EVERY YEAR. 3 YEARS AGO I SANDED AND REPAINTED THE EXTERIOR WITH EPOXY PAINT. 2 YEARS AGO I SAND BLASTED THE BOTTOM TO RAW ALUMINUM AND REPAINTED IT WITH EPOXY PAINT AS WELL. I SAND BLASTED THE TRAILER 4 YEARS AGO AND REPAINTED IT WITH ACRYLIC ENAMEL (WISH NOW I USED THE EPOXY) AND ITLOOKS AVERAGE (A COUPLE OF AREAS "SPIDER WEBBED" WHERE I USED THE WRONG REDUCER, BUT THE PRIMER BASE HAS KEPT IT FROM RUSTING AND IS NOT THAT NOTICABLE) I ADDED NEW TIRES 2 YEARS AGO AND THE BEARINGS HAVE BEEN PACKED AND GREASED EVERY YEAR AND HAVE NOT EVER GIVEN ME ANY GRIEF (TOOK THE BOAT AND TRAILER TO SOUTH FLORIDA 3 YEARS AGO,AND BACK TO WV WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL). I WOULD TAKE THE BOAT ANYWHERE YOU CAN TAKE HER ON THE TRAILER,AND THE BOAT OFF SHORE OR DOWN RIVER WITH-OUT A SECOND THOUGHT. I ADDED A SOLAR PANEL 3 YEARS AGO AND RUN ALL OF THE INTERIOR LIGHTS AND CONVERTER OFF OF THAT WITH TWO 12 VOLT BATTERIES. THE ENGINE/LOWER UNIT HAS TWO 12 VOLT BATTERIES AS WELL FOR THEIR SERVICE. THE BOAT HAS THREE DIFFERENT TOPS, WHICH ALL WHERE FABRICATED/PURCHASED 3 YEARS AGO AND ARE IN EXCELLANT SHAPE. THERE ARE TWO BIMINI TYPE TOPS THAT COVER THE ENTIRE INTERIOR. THE FORWARD BIMIN TOP ALSO HAS A FULL CAMPING ENCLOSURE THAT ZIPS TO IT THAT ENCLOSES THE ENTIRE INTERIOR. THEREARE TWO RADIOS, ANDOFF-SHORE AND CB, AND A FISH FINDER. THERE ARE ALSO A NUMBER OF 12-VOLT PLUG-IN PORTS FOR THE CONVERTER, BOOM BOX, CELL PHONE CHARGER OR WHATEVER YOU NEED TO PLUG IN. WE TRAILEREDHER FROMWEST VIRGINIA TO THE EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK AND CAMPED ON HER FOR TWO WEEKS 2 YEARSAGO, WHICH WAS THE ONLY TIME SHE WAS IN SALT WATER. WE FISHED OFF-SHORE AND AROUND THE TEN THOUSAND ISLANDS......WHAT A VACATION!!THE MOTOR AND LOWER UNIT WASIMMEDIATELY WASHED OUT AND SERVICED WHEN WE PULLED HER OUT OF, THE WATER TOCOME HOME. AS NOTED THIS BOAT IS 32 YEARS OLD AND IS NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION, HOWEVER SHE STILL LOOKS GREAT AND TURNS HEADS WHEREVER WE GO. I AM LETTING MY OLD GIRL GO DUE TO GRAND CHILDREN AND A WIFE THAT NEEDS SOMETHING MORE ACCESSABLE (EITHER LARGE PONTOON OR HOUSE BOAT), OTHER THAN THERE WISHES I WOULD JUST KEEP THIS OLD GIRL AND CONTINUE FISHING AND LOUNGING. GOOD LUCK AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS
