StarCraft Imperial V 18 IO

1968 Star Craft Imperial V 18 I/O Motorboat Ski Boat Mercruiser Inboard Outboard 250 Cubic Inch Straight Six Chevy 165 hp

Boat was restored by me in 2000 and then sold to a friend who used it up until last week, he has sold it back to me as he can't use it anymore. Boat hasn't been in salt water since I restored it, it has been in a slip every year in Portland CT on the Connecticut River. The pics are from a few days ago

Motor and Outdrive where rebuilt and have less than 300 hours on them, manifold and riser where replaced in 2012, the original lasted from 1968--2012! Canvas was all brand new when I restored the boat .

It runs and is quite quick, so what does it need? Well, first off it needs to be pressure washed to get the river scum off, not a big deal and I will try and get it done this weekend.

One of the zippers on the bimini had the thread un-rave, canvas is not rotted and I found a local guy that will re-stich all of the canvas for $100 or just the zipper for $20.

Trailer will need tires, lights all work and it tows fine, but tires are dry rotted

I have all the papers for the trailer and boat so registration will not be an issue, boat is realistically worth $4000+ polished up and ready to go in the spring. I'm offering it here in the fall for $3000 obro and you can take it home and clean it up over the winter and have a desireable boat in the spring. Its fun to drive and runs all day on 15 gallons of gas. Its capable of doing anything you want --fish, ski, ocean, lakes, rivers. It has high sides and takes the rough water well.

Boat is solid fiberglass and has zero soft spots. There are sevral antique Star Craft clubs on the internet and this is a sought after model. Thanks!!!
