Starcraft Aurora

Up for sale is a 2005 Starcraft Aurora 2010 Deck Boat. While it is 2005, it was purchased brand new at Cope Marine O'fallon, IL on 4/30/07. The cost of this boat new was $34,312.05. Even though it has been in service for seven years I would still rate it an 8 out 10. It has many features including 3 on board coolers, a sink and water faucet with a 10 gallon freshwater supply tank, a cocktail table for 4, a Clarion radio with USB and IPod capabilities, 2 foot rear swim deck with ladder, front swim deck with ladder, built-in trash can, under belly storage, lots of under seat storage, saltwater clean out, snap in carpeting, front bow cover and concealment for cool evenings on the lake, snap on rear cover and Bimini top. It was upgraded with the Volvo Penta 5.0 GL engine (260 hp) and a SX1 out drive. The seating capacity is 12 people or 1700 pounds. It has had freshwater use only.Included in this auction are 3 props (1stainless steel 17 pitch, 1 stainless steel 19 pitch and 1 aluminum 21 pitch), 2 anchors, kneeboard, various ropes, 6 ski jackets varying in size, 3 life vest, 1 throwable life preserver, 6 buoys, an oar, and an air horn. This auction also includes a 2005 Tennessee model 3900 trailer with brakes and a spare tire in good shape.

This boat was purchased for family pleasure. We have never had any issues with it starting or breaking down. The oil, oil filter and fuel filters have been changed annually and the impeller bi-annually. It will be due this off season. I have personally winterized it every year with no issues. The only reason we are selling this boat is because our children have reached college age and finding time to use it as a family has become difficult. I consider myself a very particular person, there are some scuffs in the decals from buoys and there is 1/4 inch size ding in the rear swim deck where a pontoon bumped me at the dock. There are two 1/4 inch tears in the side rest of the rear bench where the Bimini top rest in the down position. Where the windshield closes there is a wear spot and in the coolers there are scuff marks from use. I have described this boat to the best of knowledge and will be happy to answer any questions you have.
