Starcraft

This is a 1989 Starcraft Medallist 1500 fiberglass boat. This was a project boat and it was configured as a just a runabout. I put in a new floor and new fishing seats. The trolling motor is a transom model that I adopted to the bow (you can take the control apart and turn the handle around).. The engine is a Force 50 hp that appears to be a 1988 or 1989 and it probably came with the boat. The engine seems to run strong but it has been a couple years since I had it out. I can send you a video of it running. It was not shifting quite right or opening up into wide open running all the time. I do have another carburetor and a power tilt that I will let go with the boat (not sure if they are the exact right ones). I really think the linkages need gone through and the motor would be fine. I rewired the boat with an automotive fuse system including a separate trolling motor battery with a trolling circuit cutoff switch. I also added a bilge and updated connections for a Stereo. I am keeping the stereo but it has new speakers in it. The boat paint is oxidized and I am not sure if it would buff out.The trailer is in good order and is a Shorelander that probably came with the boat. I installed a new set of lights. I have kept the bearings lubricated and it pulls with no problems with no apparent heat coming from the bearings. Tires seem decent. I do not believe you would have any problem hauling this boat anywhere (well on roads and most boat launches in the continental US anyway).The cover is brand new. Someone opened the pass through window and it ripped the old one. That someone might have been me.I have clean Indiana titles in hand for the boat and trailer. You are buying this AS-IS. I have had this boat on the water and spent all day fishing it. I think you will want to have the Force gone through by a pro and you might have a real gem. But then it is a Force.
