This boat is a head turner and gets compliments everywhere we go! It's a 1972 Starcraft that looks amazing both exterior and interior. The motor is a 1973 50 horsepower Johnson that runs good and is very good on gas. We have had four adults on the boat and it planes out quickly and cruises in the mid 20's very comfortably. The black bimini top looks classy and is brand new installed a few months ago. I am about 6'1" and I can stand underneath in the shade without ducking. The trailer is in great shape, and just got two brand new tires, its' ready for a road trip whenever you are! The best thing about the trailer is the fenders are steel and make getting on and off the boat SUPER easy. The boat was also repainted this year and looks AWESOME. The anchor lights work but the front green/ red lights are not currently working. The bilge pump works currently, although the boat does not leak a drop even when we left it in the water for a week. The interior in the boat looks amazing and is comfortable, we have literally spent all day in the boat and everyone is comfortable and happy. New boat purchase forces me to sell this one. I want it to go to a good home and someone that will appreciate the uniqueness and time and effort that has been put into this boat. The boat was in salt water one time this year BUT we stayed a few miles up river in FRESHWATER and rinsed it thoroughly. The locking mechanism that keeps the motor tilted in the upright position is broken and needs to be replaced. I have used it like this all summer with no problems whatsoever so it's up to you if you want to fix it or not. Overall this boat is very economical: It's great on gas, easy to work on, will fit in most garages, and super easy to trailer. The video below is from two weeks ago and shows how well the boat runs. (**By the way this was a comfortable cruising speed- the boat would go much faster at full throttle.)**This boat is being sold "as is where is" with no warranty expressed or implied. You are welcome to come see the boat before bidding. Buyer is responsible for picking up the boat or arranging shipping. Boat is for sale locally as well so auction may end without notice. I have the GA registration for this boat in my name and you will also receive a GA Bill of Sale. These items are all you will need to transfer ownership into your name.**
