1971 StarCraft Chieftain 21

After more than a decade of ownership I am selling our all original 1971 StarCraft Chieftain 21. Only reason for selling is because I had an opportunity to up size that I couldn't pass up.Boat is nearly all original and in good shape. Upholstery is in good clean shape with the exception of a seam repair on the rear port seat, and a small cut near the bottom of the port helm seat. Cabin upholstery is mint. Table is not original was added a few years ago. Full Bluetooth stereo installed recently as well. Cabinet top was replaced with a section of waterproof countertop. Cabin windows even have all of the original screens in good shape with no holes or tears.Engine is a 165hp mercruiser inline 6, paired to a MR-1 pre alpha drive. Lower unit has been replaced with an alpha one unit.Engine has a complete fresh tune up, (plugs, wires, cap, rotor) and it has been converted to electronic ignition to eliminate the points. Engine runs great.Boat has all new boots (u joint bellows, exhaust bellows, and shift boot), new gimble bearing, new shift cables, new water impeller, and a new prop.Boat has a full canvas enclosure in good shape with no rips or tears.Full width teak swim platform added two years ago.Trailer was fitted to boat last year and completely redone at the time. Stripped and painted, new chrome wheels and tires, new winch, new bearings, new lights and wiring. No paperwork for trailer.These boats are hard to find especially in good original condition, sad to see her go. Must go to a good home.
