This boat was originally purchased in Long Island from a family who meticulously cared for the boat. It was parked in their back yard dock and dry docked during winter. Due to family illness, the boat got little use, and eventually had to be sold. Carrying on the torch, the present owner purchased the boat and drove it from LI to it's new home in Cape May, NJ. For many years, the boat was loved and treated like a family member. It went on many fishing trips, held many family gatherings, and was the viewpoint for many sunsets from the back deck. The owner put much love and care into its upkeep and maintenance and it was a true source of pure enjoyment for him, as well as his family. Being an avid fisherman, he outfitted the boat with all the necessary electronics and equipment to make it the boat he was proud to call his own, as well as a safe, sturdy, and sea-worthy vessel for those long trips out to the canyons with friends and family... Unfortunately, the owner passed away way too soon several years ago, and the boat has been sitting ever since. His wife, the current owner, has kept up with all the maintenance and seasonal responsibilities over the years. Even though boat is never used, she continues to have it winterized and dry-docked in winter, puts it back in water at start of season, and has it started every so often and checked up on. But the reality of the situation is that the boat is not being used, and owner wants to sell so someone else can carry on the tradition and take ownership of not so much a boat but an experience. It brought her and her husband many years of pleasure and fulfilled dreams, and now she is hoping someone else will "adopt" it and give it the love and attention it deserves. In the process of listing this boat for the owner, I am trying to get as much info about it as possible to add to this listing, in order to provide anyone interested in purchasing it, a clear and accurate description of it's condition and functionality. If you feel any of the info provided in this listing is inaccurate, please let me know and I will correct it. Additionally, any questions are more then welcome, and I will try to the best of my ability to provide you with an answer. That all being said, there is nothing better then seeing something in person. It is highly recommended, if you are able to do so, and are interested in the boat, to schedule a viewing and see the boat in person. The pictures in this listing were taken earlier today, on this day of listing the boat. The engines were started and both started right up. Did not test generator. We are planning to take the boat out in the next week or so, but unfortunately tide was too low at the time we were at the boat today to take it out. The boat is being sold AS IS. If someone does wish to purchase this boat and/or make an offer, and offer is accepted, a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal is required. Additionally, a professional survey was completed in 2013 by Blue Water Marine Surveying. I will make this document available for anyone interested. Boat is currently docked at a marina in Cape May, NJ. For those interested in keeping the boat in the area, several docks are available that the owner of boat would be willing to sell as well.
