Slickcraft 235

Awesome boat for Cruising, a day at the lake, Fishing, Tubing, just about anything:) It is in very, very nice condition with just under 500 hours on it. I am the 2nd owner and have owned it since 1999. Winterized every year even though it's stored in climate controlled building. The craft is extremely sea worthy which was important when our boys (now 19 and 17) were little. Nice deep boat so we didn't have to worry too much about little kids when they were on the boat. Plenty of room in the cabin for 2 adults (and the kids when they're little) to comfortably sleep with a hatch above you with a screen insert for the lake breezes. Door to cabin closes if you need. Top speed is 36mph and the Ford 302 is very good on fuel. We love the boat, but are just not using the boat much. As the boys got to be teenagers, it was tougher getting them out so we purchased a Malibu wake/surf boat 3 years ago and our Slickcraft has been very lonely. Have had it out twice in the past 3 years. Last week my son and I took it out for a test run and it started perfectly, ran excellent from around 800 rpms all the way up to top speed but it did not idle perfectly. it stalled a couple times at idle. Started right back up but idle wasn't perfect. I do have a video of it running on the lake last week also. It is easy to trailer with the electric winch and the tandem axle trailer is in very nice condition with the bearings redone every 4 years. The teak on the boat is in excellent condition and I refinish that every 4 years. I'm not a fan of shellacked teak so I just use teak oil on every trip. It's outfitted with 2 Large Igloo coolers that have pads attached to the tops. Great seats and storage or we used one for salmon . It doesn't smell fishy, it was cleaned and dusted with Baking soda after every fishing trip. The gentleman I purchased it from was a woodworker so there are some neat things on it like a downrigger board that quick mounts to the back rail for the 4 Electric downriggers. A top board with 5 Bert's Tackle rod holders that quick mounts on the roof and custom Dipsy Diver racks on the gunwhales. There are also racks for the downrigger weights. boarding steps that click into mounts on the gunwhales. - you can see the steps down below in the pics. There is also full camper canvas for the open part of the boat that was custom made in 2005 and has been used approx. 5 times when we stayed overnight at marinas. All gauges work well as does the wipers, horn, and lights as well as the trailer lights. There are electric lights in the cuddy and in the main deck area and included is the Heavy Duty Marine electrical cord for plugging in to the shorepower. Swivel seats are in good shape and the boat also is equipped with a King Autopilot system that is super easy to use and great when you're fishing. It has a JRC Radar system on it that functions perfectly and a Garmin GPS Map with all of the Great Lakes Pier Heads and Harbors on it.
