1992 Sleek Craft 19 Ft. V-Drive. Very unique GN hull. This is an original Sleek Craft by Nescher boat, not the continuation models made by Sleek Craft of Havasu. Absolute time capsule that was garaged by the original owner up until about a year ago. The hull retains all of its original gel-coat which remains in amazing condition. The hull has a wood deck look, but its in the gel-coat and hard to tell its not actually wood at first glance. I have tried to research the history on this hull with no luck. I have not been able to find another v-drive Sleek Craft anywhere. It's possible they may have produced a few, but the majority of their hulls were jets, stern drives, and outboards. This type of hull (slight v) is better equipped to handle a slight chop than a traditional flatbottom, and they make excellent lake boats. It is equipped with a low-mile 454 that has been refreshed with new seals and gaskets, new Mallory distributor and Accel coil. It has a Casale top loader v-drive and a full compliment of ol skool Stewart-Warner gauges. The period correct seats are in perfect condition too. The hour meter shows 186 hours, but I have no way to verify if it is correct, or even if that gauge was fitted when new or added later.
The boat needs a few odds and ends done before its water ready. Its needs the wiring hooked-up, a battery, the exhaust hoses, bolt in the seats, and install the throttle (pedal and cable are included but not shown). Could be in the water in a weekend. I have too many boats now, and storage is an issue, otherwise I would hang on to this one, unfortunately I cant keep them all. Its pretty rare to find a 45-year-old hull sporting its original gel-coat, so if you want to be transported back to the So-Cal lake scene as it was many decades ago, this is just the ticket. Both the hull and the trailer have clear California titles in my name and both are currently are registered.
