I bought recently this great Skipjack Flybridge 1968 from a neighbor.I wanted to finish this boat, but a change in my job situation forces me to sell itThe Ford 302 engine has been redone, top and bottom,by Barber's in Oxnard, and it is on an engine stand.The outdrive is a Volvo Penta.The fiberglass hull appears to structurally sound., Skipjacks are built very tough.The Skipjack company is in Hesperia, CA, they carry spare parts for this boat.The trailer works--I used it to bring the boat to my place. It has 5 alloy wheels, Ford Explorer type. The winch looks a bit rusty and there is a need to replace the jack/trolley. Also the electrical lines need to be run. A fabricator quoted $300 to bring the trailer back to shape. It looks like the 4 wooden trailer planks should be replaced. No more than $50. The former owner gave me 6-7 boxes containing all the parts, screws, hoses, etc.. to reinstall the engine and outdrive. With a good week end of work, this will be a fine boat.

Hi, I was reading your as and looking at your pictures of your boat. My family owned the exact boat when I was a kid. I can’t tell you how many hours, days weeks we spent on her. Low and slow was her name. My dad was a pilot and he named her that. We went shark fishing at Ventura marina, we went to lake casitas, lake casttaic, and of course Lake Mead every summer. While I was looking at the pictures, I jumped for joy as they brought back a life that’s long gone. Anyway I thought I would tell you that. When father died, his Aussie hat was still on board. The new owner refused to take it off. Thank you for some great memories. BTW, I live in Las Vegas by Lake Mead. It’s not the same as I remember it
